Creature — Giant5 generic manaWhite mana

The recursion clause is the entire reason to look twice at a 5/5 that would otherwise be filler at this cost. Most graveyard-return creatures pay for their second life with mana, exile fodder, or a tax on the recursion target. This one pays with time itself: a cheap reanimation that hands your opponent a free turn while you skip your own. The trade is sharper than it reads, and crueler in the details. The giant returns tapped, and because you skip your next turn, it stays tapped through your opponent's swing: it cannot block the attack you most wanted it back for, and it sits there as a wall that does not yet wall anything until your turn finally comes around. That makes it a blocker on a one-turn delay, always answering the threat after it has already connected once. Skipping a turn against a developed board can lose the game outright, so the ability rewards slow, attrition-minded white decks that treat a dead creature as a setback to be undone rather than a resource to be cashed in. It loops cleanly with any effect that kills it on your terms (a sacrifice outlet, a sweeper you survive), letting you smooth the temporal cost across a long game where one missed turn matters less than never running out of bodies. The skipped turn is the leash, and it is a tight one.
