Charmed Griffin
A shared-resource permanent from before the table had a word like Group Hug to file it under. The 3/3 flyer is ordinary for the cost, which is exactly the point: the giveaway clause exists to make a plain body do something other than block and swing. When it enters, every other player (and only other players: the controller is locked out of the trigger entirely) gets to drop an artifact or enchantment from hand onto the battlefield without paying for it. The design is generosity with no reciprocity built in. You buy a modest flyer at full rate, and as the trigger resolves, everyone else skips the mana on whatever permanent they have been sitting on. In a duel that is a self-tax: you are spending four mana to deploy a 3/3 and hand your single opponent a free turn of tempo. In a pod it turns into a negotiation, capable of spreading goodwill or accelerating a kingmaker depending on who holds the biggest bomb. The structural flaw is quiet but real: the player who gains most is whoever has the costliest permanent stranded in hand, and since the controller never gets the trigger, that beneficiary is by definition never you. What dates the design is the distance between the unremarkable rate and the attached clause; a flyer this plain would normally arrive clean. It is an early, honest attempt to make a fair body interesting by sharing a resource, written before the design space had been charted.
