Chainflail Centipede
Reconfigure's cleanest expression of what the mechanic is actually for. The keyword's whole pitch is that an Equipment can play as a body when you have nobody to suit up, then bolt onto a real threat once you do, without ever being stranded as a dead draw. Here the effect it carries is the same whether it is swinging on its own two legs or riding a bigger insect: an attack trigger that pumps power by two. That symmetry is the point. Most early combat rewards had to pick a lane (either a keen-edged creature or an anonymous piece of gear), and Reconfigure lets a single card fill whichever role the board wants without the awkward downtime of a Living Weapon token or the dead draw of an equipment with no wearer. The catch that keeps it from being pure upside is the sorcery-speed clause on the move: you commit to your configuration before combat, so an opponent who reads the board can size their blocks around whether the centipede is going to detach and swing itself or stay strapped to your beater. It is a small card doing a clear teaching job for the mechanic, showing exactly why Reconfigure was worth a keyword rather than a one-off: flexibility across turns bought with a modest recurring cost and a timing restriction that stops it from being a combat trick.
