Calculating Lich

Creature — Zombie Wizard4 generic manaBlack manaBlack mana

The trigger fires on any creature attacking one of your opponents, not just your own, which quietly turns a multiplayer table's combat math against everyone but you. In a two-player game the effect reads as a modest chip: swing with your board, each attacker taxes a life. But the wording keys off attacks on your opponents, and once several players are trading blows, every fork of an attack step you are not defending against becomes incremental drain you did not have to commit any creatures to earn. The 5/5 body with menace is the honest part of the bill: a fair rate for six mana that pressures blockers on its own, so the card is never a dead durdle while you wait for the group to start fighting. This is a support piece built to reward a battlefield already in motion rather than to build one, and the design leans into the incentive structure of a crowded board, where the drain scales with chaos you profit from without steering. It is the kind of political engine that does not demand you attack at all: it asks only that everyone else keep doing what they were going to do anyway.
