Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer
The engine that turns quantity into quality, then quality into a lethal board in a single combat step. The token-copying clause reads like a value ability but functions as a payoff: every token you already control, however small, becomes a copy of your best one at the beginning of combat. Feed it a single large threat (a big Dragon token, a copy of a giant Hydra, a Golem stamped out earlier) and the entire go-wide board converts into an army of that thing, all of it hasty because of the static ability, all of it swinging the same turn. The self-generated 2/1 Myr each combat guarantees there is always at least one token to seed the copy from, so the engine never sputters even from an empty board. The timing is the sharp edge: the copy happens at the beginning of combat, after your main-phase setup and before attackers are declared, so the transformation and the attack land in the same window with no turn cycle for opponents to disrupt the assembled army. Older token payoffs asked you to build up over multiple turns before the reward arrived; here the plan resolves and connects on the same turn it comes online. The Phyrexian Artificer framing fits the function: this is a design about mass-producing copies of a chosen ideal, then throwing all of it at a single life total at once.
