Brightstone Ritual

InstantRed mana

Compare it to Dark Ritual and the comparison cuts both ways. Dark Ritual nets you mana on turn one and keeps doing it all game; this floats its payout against the count of Goblins in play, dead with nothing down and gushing once the swarm has arrived. The single red mana is the fixed price, but the scope is what makes the design tick: it counts every Goblin across the table, including your opponents', so a board crowded with the tribe turns one red into a haymaker no fair ritual would ever sell. That dependency is the entire tension. It is not a fast-mana enabler in the way the black spell is; it asks you to have already committed the creatures, then converts that horde back into the explosive sorcery-speed turn that emptied your hand to build it. Tribal accelerants that reward a wide single-color board are a thin category, and this is the one whose ceiling sits most tightly against the surrounding state: zero on an idle table, lethal when the Goblins are stacked deep. The structural quirk worth noticing is that the count is live at resolution, so it rewards sequencing your creatures before you fire it, and it leaves the floor brutally low if the board gets swept first.
