Bonus Round

The symmetry is the trap and the point. Rather than targeting a single spell, this installs a copying rule on the table until end of turn, and crucially it applies to every player, not just its caster. Anyone who casts an instant or sorcery while the effect is live duplicates it for free, opponents included. That openness is the price the design pays for the absurdity: there is no clause restricting the bonus to you, no "spells you cast" rider, so resolving this and then passing priority hands the same engine to the player across the table. In practice the card belongs to whoever moves first, because the caster gets the first uninterrupted window to chain copied spells before anyone else can use the rule. The new-targets clause is what turns it from a curiosity into a finisher, though it only matters for spells that actually have targets: a copied burn spell can be repointed at a second creature or a second opponent, so a single chain can fork in multiple directions. Rituals and many draw spells still copy, doubling their mana or cards, but there is nothing to repoint. The cleanest reading rewards a sequenced storm-style turn where the copies compound faster than the symmetry can be exploited back. It reads as fair and behaves as anything but, depending entirely on who has the spells ready when the rule goes up.
