Boneyard Parley
Fact or Fiction wearing seven mana and a black robe. The engine is the pile-split, the same decision-shifting trick that powers Fact or Fiction and Tribute to Hunger: you name the spoils, your opponent divides them, but the last word stays with you. You get the pile of your choice; the rest goes to owners' graveyards. That inversion is the whole tension of dividing this thing. An opponent handed five dead creatures cannot simply hide the best one, because you will take whichever half it lands in. Their only real defense is symmetry: split the threats so evenly that neither pile is a clear windfall, and pray the halves come out close. With five genuine bombs on the table, no cut is clean, and every partition leaves you an army. The difference from its cantrip forebears is scale. This is not sorting instants and lands; it is reanimating an entire pile of creatures at once, pulling from both your graveyard and theirs. The seven-mana cost and the dependence on a stocked yard are what keep it out of the early-turn reanimation conversation: this is a late-game payoff, a way to convert a stalled board and two full graveyards into a battlefield in one cast. It is mass reanimation with a theft rider bolted on, and its identity is the asymmetry of the gamble: you set the stakes, your opponent shapes the odds, and you still call the coin.
