Boar Umbra

The +3/+3 is the lure; the destruction-replacement is the lesson. Umbra armor cards sell themselves on the stat boost a player already wants to throw on a threat, then bundle in a one-time save that changes how an opponent has to think about removal. The enchanted creature shrugs off the first lethal-damage destruction (a chump-blocked-into-it combat trade, a Doom Blade, a wrath), and the Aura eats the destruction in its place. That reframes the usual Aura math: the classic objection to suiting up a single creature is the two-for-one when removal answers both at once, and this design hands that exchange back to the caster, since the spell hits the Aura and leaves the body standing. The defense is narrow on purpose: it only catches effects that destroy. Exile, bounce, sacrifice edicts, and toughness-reduction all walk straight past it, which keeps it from being a blanket insurance policy and gives opponents a clear lane to fight through. The structural cleverness is that it acts as a replacement effect rather than regeneration, so it sidesteps the "can't be regenerated" riders that destroy-based removal often carries. As a green incarnation of the cycle, the package leans into what green already does well: making one creature large and daring the table to deal with it twice.
