Taking the initiative on entry drops you into the Undercity dungeon and keeps you there until an opponent connects with you in combat, so the pressure to fend off attackers is baked into the trigger the moment it resolves. Crown of Madness, the flavor keyword lifted from the faux-Dungeons-and-Dragons subgame, is the answer to that pressure: it converts your artifacts and creatures into a goad engine that forces someone else's threat to swing at a player other than you. The synergy is precise rather than incidental. Goading an opponent's biggest attacker away from your face is exactly how you keep the initiative you just took, so the sacrifice ability is not a stray aristocrats bolt-on but the defensive limb of the trigger stapled above it. That makes the sorcerer a political rudder in a multiplayer game: every spare artifact or creature becomes a lever for redirecting combat, and the table is invited to fight over the initiative crown while you point the incoming damage elsewhere. The 3/3 is a fair body for four mana, but the stats are beside the point: this card does its real work through activations, not swings, and the sacrifice ability is where the value lives. It asks you to build a board of expendable permanents worth feeding into the crown, then spends them one at a time to steer other people's creatures away from the crown you are quietly carrying.
