Seven points of trample for four mana, and none of the toughness to match: a 7/1 that swings once and is gone before the next upkeep. The end-step sacrifice is the price for stapling haste and trample to a power-seven body, and it caps the card's reach to exactly one combat step, which is precisely the window a red deck trying to end the game on schedule wants. Cast it for its full cost and it attacks the turn it lands, no setup, no second swing, no value past the one hole it punches. The morph option sells a different threat profile, and it is where the card hides its teeth. A defender reading three mana and two power blocks accordingly, sizing every trade around a small body. The flip is a true ambush: attack with the disguised creature, wait for blockers, then pay two red to flip it, and the chump blocker sized for a modest threat is suddenly eating seven, with trample spilling the rest through. Flipping costs nothing in tempo here: a creature deployed disguised on a prior turn can already attack, and turning it up mid-combat does not reset that, so the morph cost buys raw blowout rather than the ability to swing at all. Either way it is a burn spell that has to walk through the combat phase to land, then burns itself out at end of turn.
