Birthing Boughs

A colorless token factory built to feed tribes that don't share a color. The changeling keyword is what makes it work: every 2/2 it stamps out belongs to all tribes simultaneously, so a single artifact plugs into any tribal payoff without asking your manabase to bend. That universality is the whole reason a four-mana-per-body engine (three to cast, then four and a tap to fire) earns a slot where cheaper tribal lords do not: those lords commit you to one creature type, while this commits you to none. The rate is deliberately grinding rather than explosive. One token per activation at a full turn's worth of mana keeps it out of aggressive shells and pushes it toward the long game, where a repeatable, artifact-based source of bodies keeps replenishing a board that removal has to chew through one Shapeshifter at a time. Because the engine lives on an artifact rather than a creature, it survives the sweepers that clear the board it just filled, then rebuilds from scratch. It sits in the same lineage as older colorless recursion engines that turned mana into bodies over time, but the changeling clause is the twist that turns a generic army-in-a-can into tribal glue, letting one card anchor a suite of anthems and death triggers regardless of which tribe the deck actually claims to be.
