The body is the point. With four toughness it holds against nearly everything ground-based in early combat and survives, then taps to redirect prevention toward whatever else the turn throws up, including burn aimed at your face or a creature you want to keep alive. A lone point reads as trivially small, and on a single activation it is, but the tap costs no mana, so multiple copies compound: a board with a couple of these turns racing math sour for an aggressor, since every point shaved is a point of clock to be made up elsewhere. The tap is the natural governor here, one prevention per untap cycle unless something else stands it back up, which keeps the value steady rather than explosive. The design sits in the gap between the wall and the wand. Where Samite Healer pairs prevention with a body that can swing, this trades attack rights entirely for toughness, becoming a permanent that defends two ways at once: it blocks with its 0/4 frame and answers the stack with its prevention. It is the low-rarity expression of a tension white keeps returning to: how much defensive value should a single permanent generate, turn after turn, without ever threatening to close a game itself.
