Bear's Companion
Two creatures for the price of one card, and the split is the whole idea: the 2/2 pilot is almost beside the point, a fragile chassis for delivering a 4/4 Bear that outsizes most of what it meets in combat. Removal aimed at the Warrior leaves the companion swinging; a chump block on the Bear buys nothing while the Warrior chips in. Where most enter-the-battlefield token generators hand you a lone blocker or a spread of small bodies, this one front-loads its value into a single large threat, which is harder to wall off and quicker to close. The three-color Temur identity is what pays for the generosity: you have to be committed to a green-blue-red wedge before this is even castable, so a manabase doing real work offsets the six power and toughness stapled to five mana. What makes the two-for-one durable is that the Bear owes none of its existence to the Warrior; kill the creature you cast and the opponent has answered half the problem, the same reason flicker and reanimation effects prize bodies that stack value on the way in. Resolve it once and the 4/4 is locked, no strings attached.
