Bearded Axe

Artifact — Equipment2 generic manaRed mana

The gimmick is that it counts itself. Equipment sits on the battlefield the way creatures do not: it persists through combat, survives the wraths that clear the board, and accumulates a permanent tally rather than a temporary swing. So the bonus reads three subtypes at once (Dwarves, Equipment, Vehicles), and because it is itself an Equipment, every copy you resolve raises the floor for every other one. Two on the table make each worth at least +2/+2 before you count anything else. That self-referential loop is where the card diverges from a flat anthem: the payoff scales with the density of the shell it wants to live in, and the card is one of the three subtypes feeding its own number. The Dwarf and Vehicle riders point it squarely at a mechanical-aggression build where creatures, artifacts, and crewable bodies all pour into the same total, and the equip cost of 2 generic mana keeps the ceiling honest by taxing you every time you want to shift the buff onto a fresh threat after the equipped creature dies. It asks you to commit to a permanent type rather than a curve, which is a rarer axis to hang an aggressive deck on than it looks.
