The keyword anthem the Sliver tribe was always going to get: a body that hands trample to every Sliver on the board, yours and theirs alike. That last clause is the genre's signature tax. Sliver lords have always been symmetrical, buffing any Sliver any player controls, and the tribe's whole power curve is built around a snowball that becomes a liability the moment the mirror shows up. Trample is the keyword that turns the tribe's go-wide math into damage that actually lands: once a Sliver board is fat enough to outclass blockers, a single chump no longer buys a turn, and the overflow goes to the dome. The price is the rate. Six mana for a 4/4 whose only contribution is one static keyword is a steep ask in a tribe that already wants to flood the board with cheaper lords. That tension defines the card's role: it is not a curve-filler but a finisher-enabler, the piece you add once the rest of the team is assembled and the only thing standing between you and lethal is a wall of blockers. It sits in a long line of single-keyword Sliver anthems, each one trading a body for a tribe-wide ability, and trample is the one most directly pointed at closing the game rather than starting it.
