The go-wide anthem in its most stripped-down form, and the whole design turns on a single word: counters. A temporary pump like Overrun lends your board trample and power for one combat, then evaporates at end of turn; a counter-based buff banks the height onto each creature as a permanent statistic on the battlefield. That is the lever this card pulls. The counters stay after the turn ends and survive any removal that fails to sweep the whole board, so the payoff is standing board investment that keeps mattering across future combats. Two things temper that permanence. The first is fragility of a different kind: counters live on the object, not the creature card, so bounce, blink, or any effect that sends a creature to hand or exile strips the bonus clean off when it returns. The second is the sorcery speed. You commit before blockers are declared, never in response to them, which removes any ambush or combat-trick angle: the reward scales with how much width you had already deployed, not with how cleverly you time it. That makes it a converter for the deck that has flooded the battlefield and wants a row of small bodies to become permanent size, not a comeback button for an empty board. The permanence also opens an axis temporary anthems cannot reach, feeding anything that cares about creatures with +1/+1 counters on them. Plain work, plainly built; banking the buff as counters is the one decision that separates it from the trample-anthem lineage it otherwise resembles.
