Barkweave Crusher
The 2/5 body is the tell: this was built to hold the ground while enlist does the punching. Enlist reframes an idle blocker into a battering ram by borrowing the power of a single creature that stays home, which turns a durable defensive stat line into a legitimate attacker without ever putting the borrowed body at risk. The keyword rewards a board with untapped creatures that would otherwise sit inert (a summoning-sick attacker has nothing to lend, so timing matters), and it stacks the toughness question in the crusher's favor: a five-toughness frame that suddenly swings for its own power plus one enlisted creature's is hard to profitably block. The design is a green answer to a problem red usually solves with trample or double strike, converting a stalled body into pressure. What keeps it from running away is the tax on your own development: the power you enlist comes from a creature held back from attacking on its own, so the ability asks you to weigh a wide swing against a tall one, one contributor at a time. It is a proof-of-concept for the keyword rather than a marquee card, but the choice it forces (which blocker becomes ammunition, and when) is exactly the decision enlist exists to create.
