Pay three mana once, then harvest forever: that trade is the whole pitch. Every upkeep yields a single 0/1 colorless Eldrazi Spawn, a body so deliberately worthless on its own that the design can give it away for free turn after turn without breaking anything. Each Spawn carries its own sacrifice-for-colorless ability, and that is the detail that turns the drip from ornament into engine: the token is fungible, a chump blocker the turn you need one and a ritual of colorless mana the turn you do not. You are not paying once for a burst of ramp; you are buying an annuity, each upkeep adding another expendable body ready to block, feed a sacrifice outlet, or convert into mana. The cost is patience and a clean upkeep: the enchantment pays nothing the turn it resolves, nothing the turn a Spawn dies, and rewards only the player who can afford to leave it alone and let the turns stack up. One token per upkeep looks like nothing early; the value lives entirely in how many upkeeps the enchantment survives to see. It reads as a slow ramp piece, but it is really a token factory that happens to make mana, valued not by the turn it enters but by the patience it asks for in exchange for a board that never stops widening.
