The information is private and repeatable, and that repeatability is the design's real teeth. You learn what one creature is, decide whether to trade or hold, and the gaze is still online next turn for the next unknown. The 3/3 flying body does honest work alongside it: a flyer the morph deck cannot simply run past, married to intel that tells you which attacks are empty and which become something nasty mid-combat. This is color-pie discipline as much as a creature, white refusing to destroy the hidden threat and instead stripping away the uncertainty that makes morph dangerous at all. The face-down player's whole edge is that you do not know; the Soulgazer asks the question, and keeps asking it.
