Avacynian Priest

Creature — Human Cleric1 generic manaWhite mana

The "non-Human" clause is the whole point, and it tells you exactly which war this little Cleric was built to fight. White's tappers have always been about neutralizing a single threat for a turn (Master Decoy and its lineage charge a mana to lock down one attacker or blocker), and the tax here is identical: pay one, tap something. What sets this version apart is the deliberate carve-out. It cannot touch Humans, which means it does nothing to half the creatures in a tribal-heavy environment, but everything to the werewolves, vampires, zombies, and spirits arrayed against the human cause. That restriction is the cost of admission, and it reads as flavor before it reads as a balance lever: a faithful servant whose blessing simply has no power over her own kind. As a piece of repeatable, activated interaction on a two-drop, it does the unglamorous work of holding the ground while a slower deck assembles its plan, tapping down the biggest non-Human blocker before an alpha strike or pinning a recursive threat in place each turn. The 1/2 body is fragile enough that the priest survives mostly by being too cheap to spend removal on, which is the bargain white tappers have always offered: trade your own combat relevance for the right to neutralize someone else's.
