Auriok Windwalker

Creature — Human Wizard3 generic manaWhite mana

Equipment carries a hidden tax: the equip cost, paid each time you want to move a sword from one body to another. This Wizard erases it. Tapping it reattaches any one Equipment you control for free, at instant speed, which converts the whole Equipment package from a stiff value plan into a fluid one. Suit up a blocker on the opponent's turn, then pull the gear back onto an attacker before your own combat; relocate a sword onto whichever creature is best positioned to carry it, on either player's turn. Because the move lives in the same window as removal and blocks, an opponent pointing a kill spell at your equipped attacker no longer recoups the equip cost you would otherwise owe to re-suit the next creature: you simply shift the gear in response and the survivor inherits it for nothing. The activation costs only the tap, so the ceiling is one move per turn unless something untaps it. This belongs to an early era when Equipment was a young keyword and the equip cost was the chief lever holding it in check; a creature that simply waives that cost asks what it looks like to build around reconfiguring your arsenal rather than paying for each shuffle. With one Equipment it is a minor convenience; with a half-dozen it becomes the hub keeping every blade pointed at the right target, and the flying body keeps the engine aloft and relevant while it works.
