The catch is the supply problem: Equipment is sticky, it survives the death of whatever was holding it, so your graveyard only fills with the stuff when the artifacts themselves get destroyed, discarded, or milled. That makes this a recursion engine waiting on a specific kind of attrition, one that grinds at the gear and not just the bodies. The 6 mana value is the brake, since you are paying full retail for the frame, the recursion, and a built-in equip rolled into one cast. It points at the rare board state where the most valuable card in your yard is not a creature at all but the weapon they were holding.
