A one-drop that reads as a tribal payoff without ever demanding you commit to the tribe. The lifegain is unconditional: any other creature entering under your control triggers it, so the 0/2 body sits comfortably in a wide, go-tall lifegain shell that never touches an arachnid. The Spider clause is the flavor-forward second gear, quietly turning every Spider you play into a growing threat, but it is bolted onto the effect rather than gating it. That split is the interesting piece of the design. Most narrow tribal lords price their lifegain or their counters behind the creature type; this one gives the generically useful half to everyone and reserves the counter for the on-theme deck, which lets a single card serve two audiences without watering down either. The counters accrue on entry, so flicker and recursion effects turn her into a slow anthem that puts a fresh counter on Spiders each time they return. As a body she does nothing on offense and little on defense beyond blocking a one-drop, which is the correct restraint for a card meant to sit back and tick: the value is in the trigger frequency, and she rewards flooding the board rather than protecting herself.
