Astrologian's Planisphere
Two triggers, one growth engine, and the whole point is that neither of them wants to be a creature spell. Attach this and the equipped creature starts stacking +1/+1 counters off noncreature casts and off drawing its third card each turn, which means the token that Job select hands you is not the payoff so much as a chassis to bolt a spellslinger deck onto. The design leans on a body that a control or card-advantage shell would otherwise never field: the Hero token arrives with the Equipment already on it, so there is no tempo tax to get the engine online, and every cantrip and instant you were already casting quietly feeds it. The third-card clause is the sharper of the two triggers, rewarding the kind of deck that chains draw effects rather than just holding up interaction; the noncreature trigger is the floor, the card-draw trigger is the ceiling. Making the wearer a Wizard is the small tribal hook that ties it to the rest of blue's caster identity, but the counters are what matter. What keeps it honest is that all the growth lives on the creature, not the Equipment: kill the Hero (or whatever you moved the planisphere onto) and the accumulated counters vanish, so the payoff you have been building is also the thing your opponent most wants to remove.
