Ashiok, Sculptor of Fears
Every previous Ashiok made mill a weapon: a resource aimed at the opponent's library, sometimes doubling as fuel for a reanimation payoff off their yard. This one flips the polarity. The plus-two draws a card and mills everyone (yourself included), turning what was an assault into a self-serving engine that stocks graveyards for the minus-five to raid. That second ability does not care whose creature it exhumes, so the two halves feed each other: mill your own bombs and their blockers, then pull the best body out onto your side. This is the Ashiok built to advance loyalty while filling graveyards it intends to plunder rather than deny, which reframes the whole planeswalker from a prison piece into a value machine. The ultimate is the reward for surviving that far: a total creature theft that ends most games on the spot, at eleven loyalty from a starting four, which means four plus-two activations to cross the twelve-loyalty threshold. The tension in the design is that a single repeatable button keeps you drawing, keeps thinning both libraries toward reanimation fuel, and keeps marching toward a board-emptying finish. Where earlier iterations asked the opponent to watch their deck vanish, this one asks them to watch their best creature switch sides.
