Ascend from Avernus

SorceryX generic manaWhite manaWhite manaWhite mana

White does not get to do this. Mass reanimation is black's province, and green occasionally rents it through a token of ramp and sacrifice; when white wants creatures back, it pays per body or exiles the graveyard to power a Reveillark loop. This is white writing itself a Living Death with the color's characteristic tax bolted on: the triple-white pip is a commitment, and X sets a ceiling that turns the spell into a mana-value cutoff rather than a blanket return. That cutoff is where the effect stays honest to white's structural limits. At X of two you rebuild a swarm of dorks and hatebears; push X higher and you start reaching titans and planeswalkers, but you are paying full freight for the privilege, so the reach drifts up in step with your investment rather than granting the flat everything-back that black's version hands over. Exiling itself afterward settles the rest: this is a one-shot resurrection, priced and gated so white earns the reach without inheriting black's recursion loop. The planeswalker clause is the quiet part. Returning walkers from the yard is rare outside of dedicated superfriends recursion, and folding them into the same X threshold means a well-sized cast can rebuild an entire board of permanents that white, structurally, was never supposed to be able to bring back all at once.
