Armored Wolf-Rider
A 4/6 for five mana is a body built to refuse trades: it stonewalls anything in its weight class, soaks up the two- and three-power attackers a midrange deck has to survive, and forces the opponent to spend extra creatures or a removal spell to push through it. The block-anything stat line is the whole pitch. There is no evasion, no enters-the-battlefield trigger, no mana sink: it is a wall that can also crew the front line, priced as a common-rarity speed bump for a green-white shell that wants to stabilize the ground while its real threats come online. The Elf Knight typing gestures at a tribal hook that never gathered enough support to matter in constructed, so the practical role is defensive filler: a deck plays this to hold the fort. No pretense of being a threat, and that clarity of purpose is rarer among five-mana commons than it ought to be.
