Ancestral Statue

The bounce clause reads like a drawback until you notice what it can return: the Statue itself. On resolution the controller picks what to bounce, and as long as the Statue is still on the battlefield it supplies its own legal pickup, so a 3/4 that re-enters your hand becomes a repeatable enters-the-battlefield trigger for four mana. That self-return is the engine. On its own the loop is not free; recasting still costs four each pass. The card's home is any shell that either drives the recast cost to zero or generates more mana per iteration than it spends, at which point the Statue becomes an arbitrarily repeatable enters trigger: the payoff, not the Golem, is what closes the game. Outside that engine the bounce still does honest labor, resetting a permanent whose counters you would rather rebuild or replaying an enters-the-battlefield effect you want a second time. But the design's center of gravity is that recursive shape. Most enters-and-bounce creatures (Man-o'-War, Venser, Shaper Savant) hand the controller a tempo swing and ask nothing in return; this one demands you return something, then quietly offers itself as the answer to its own demand. A creature whose mandatory bounce can feed itself is an unusual enough shape that the card has spent its life as a quiet combo enabler rather than a fair midrange body, valued for the loop it permits rather than the stats it prints.
