Green has always charged mana for size, but this design launders it through a number you already own rather than printing the stats itself. The 0/0 body is inert until it resolves; that vulnerability is the entire wager, because it copies the greatest power you can point at, whether that creature is still standing or already in the yard. The graveyard clause is what narrows the audience: a Ghalta that already died still casts its shadow forward onto a four-mana Dragon. It reads like an aggressive stat-stick, but structurally it wants a green pile already committed to going tall, and it converts excess power into a redundant threat that arrives the instant your marquee fatty gets answered. The lineage here is the perennial green question of how to turn one enormous creature into more than a single point of failure; this answers by copying a number instead of a body, which sidesteps the legend rule and the usual clone caveats entirely. It reads the battlefield and the graveyard but not exile, so a creature milled or sacrificed still counts while one hit by removal-to-exile does not. Cast it with a stocked graveyard and no board and it still enters huge; cast it into a genuinely empty game, no creatures anywhere, and you have spent four mana on a 0/0 that dies on entry.
