Alpha Authority

Enchantment — Aura1 generic manaGreen mana

Hexproof Aura, the design that forever shadows the suit-up archetype. The deckbuilding problem this answers is the oldest objection to Auras: card disadvantage on a fragile target, where a single removal spell two-for-ones you the instant you commit. Stapling hexproof to the enchanted creature closes the most common window, locking the opponent out of targeted interaction once the Aura resolves. The second clause is the quieter half and the more aggressive one: a creature that can't be blocked by more than one body cuts straight through gang-blocks, the standard defense against a single oversized threat. A team built to chump and trade is forced to deal with the threat one blocker at a time, which against a pumped attacker means it doesn't deal with it at all. The two effects share an axis: both are about protecting an investment from being answered cheaply, one against the stack, one against combat. Hexproof does not stop sweepers, edicts, or chump-and-survive blocks on an unpumped body, so the suit-up plan still has to win the race it sets up rather than relying on the creature being literally untouchable. This is the protective Aura distilled to its load-bearing pieces: keep the target alive through targeted removal, then make sure no wall of bodies can hold it back.
