All Suns' Dawn

Sorcery4 generic manaGreen mana

The recursion scales with how spread out your graveyard is across the color pie, which is a strange thing to ask of green, the color least likely to be assembling five colors on its own. That tension is the whole point: it was built for the artifact-and-rainbow decks of its era, where a wide manabase meant a wide graveyard, and where one cast could rebuild a hand piece by piece across every color you touched. Returning up to one card of each color, all five at once, is an enormous payoff for a deck that genuinely splashes everything; in a mono-green or two-color shell it is a clunky, overcosted way to claw back one or two cards. The single-use clause (it exiles itself rather than going back to the graveyard) keeps the ceiling honest: you get one big refuel, not a recurring engine. It rewards a wide spread of colors, since the best returns are often a planeswalker, a board wipe, a creature, and a removal spell in a single cast, each a different color. In green's recursion lineage this sits as the color-greedy outlier: where most green graveyard work pulls back creatures or lands, this one asks you to have built a rainbow worth digging through, then hands back the spread rather than the bodies.
