Alacrian Armory
Two mechanics that shipped together needed a payoff piece that touched both, and this is the anthem-plus-enabler built for that job. The saddle mechanic asks a Mount to have a creature riding it before its bonus turns on; the crew mechanic asks a Vehicle to have enough power tapped to it before it becomes a creature at all. Both are per-turn friction, and both cost you a body or a tap you might rather spend elsewhere. The combat-step trigger sidesteps that entirely: once each turn you get one Mount saddled or one Vehicle animated for free, no rider committed, no crew tapped, exactly when you want to swing. The choice being "up to one" and single-target keeps it from turning a whole board of hardware live at once, so it reads as a steady engine rather than a combo enabler. The static half is quieter but does real structural work: the +0/+1 keeps your creatures alive through the exact chip damage a go-wide board trades in, and the vigilance means the same attackers hold the fort, which matters more than usual for a deck leaning on Vehicles that only become creatures on the turn you animate them. It is a support artifact in the most literal sense, designed to make two adjacent mechanics play nicely in a single deck without either one demanding its usual upkeep.
