Akrasan Squire
The cheapest legal carrier for exalted, and that is most of its job: a one-drop that adds another +1/+1 to whatever creature you send in alone. Exalted was built to reward the single-attacker plan, stacking temporary boosts onto whichever creature went in unaccompanied, and a keyword that triggers off your other creatures wants the cheapest possible bodies to print it on. This is that body. On its own it is a 1/1 that can swing as a 2/2 by attacking solo, but the design intent runs the other direction: it is one more voice in a chorus of exalted creatures, each pumping +1/+1 until end of turn onto a lone evasive threat while the rest of the board sits back. The friction is written into the keyword itself, which only fires when a creature attacks alone, so the more of these you assemble the worse they become as an attacking squad; an exalted board grows one creature tall rather than going wide, by construction. As a standalone creature it asks for nothing and offers little, which is exactly correct for a piece whose value is additive rather than individual: the bonus matters in aggregate, on a turn when a single flier or trampler carries the whole team's worth of damage through.
