Aggressive Instinct
The fight spell reduced to a single, one-sided arrow. Green's usual removal package in this vein forces the two creatures to trade blows: your attacker deals its power to the enemy, and the enemy deals its power right back, which means your board investment eats damage every time you point it at a threat. This trims that symmetry away. Your creature swings for its power and takes nothing in return, turning what is normally a risky bite into a clean shot. That makes it a genuinely different tool: a spell you can safely cast with a fragile beater into a fat blocker, or one that lets a deathtouch creature snipe a bomb without paying with its own life. The cost is the setup. It does nothing without a creature already on the battlefield, and it does nothing meaningful without a creature whose power is worth pointing somewhere, so the payoff scales with a board green is already trying to build. It sits in the small family of one-way fight variants that solve green's oldest removal problem (the color has always paid in creature life to kill things), and it does so at a rate cheap enough to fold into a curve rather than build around.
