Agent of Atlas

Creature — Human Spy Hero1 generic manaWhite mana

Prowess grew up in blue and red, where cheap cantrips and burn come in bunches and the +1/+1 fires almost by default. Stapling it to a white two-drop is the wrinkle, because white's noncreature spells lean reactive (combat tricks, protective enchantments, cheap removal) rather than the burn-and-cantrip density that let prowess snowball in its home colors. The tension the card lives in is that the trigger wants a spell-heavy shell while white leans creature-forward, so the deck that rewards it is a specific brand of white tempo build most white decks are not. As a 2/2 for two, it holds a curve slot on its own and asks the pilot to supply the rest: chain a trick and a removal spell in the same turn and it swings for real damage; give it nothing to cast and it is a plain 2/2 with a dormant trigger. That conditional is the whole read, and it is a real one, because prowess only rewards the density white does not natively carry. This is a design built for an aggressive white spells archetype that has to be deliberately constructed for the card to earn its keep, and a serviceable, quiet creature when the surrounding deck cannot feed it.
