Energy was the rare resource that asked you to do nothing but wait, and this is the payoff card built for the patient. Three counters arrive every upkeep without any deckbuilding scaffolding beyond the body itself, but the eight-energy gate means the engine cannot fire on its own until the third upkeep after it lands: two upkeeps net only six. Once the meter fills, the activation clears every other creature off the table, and the sorcery-speed restriction is what keeps it from being an instant-speed reset on a stick. You cannot hold it open as a combat blowout or an end-step ambush, so the board wipe announces itself a full turn early and lets the opponent play around the inevitability. The flying 6/6 is the half that turns the tempo swing into something more than a stall: clear the board, then attack into an empty sky with an evasive body while everyone else rebuilds from their hand. The design tension is patience against pressure. The energy threshold means the bounce is rarely available the moment you most want it, and a fast aggressive board can close before the eighth counter arrives. But left undisturbed, the card manufactures its own answer to whatever the opponent recommits, recharging toward the next reset on every upkeep.
