Aerie Auxiliary

Creature — Bird Soldier3 generic manaWhite mana

Support turns an even-handed mechanic into an aggregate one: rather than pointing its enter trigger at itself, this Bird Soldier hands two +1/+1 counters to a board it already helped build, so the payout scales with how wide you were when it lands. That reframes the four-mana slot from "how good is a 3/3 flier" to "how much does the rest of my team appreciate a permanent buff." The counters are the reason it does more than an anthem: an anthem evaporates when the source dies, but support leaves the board physically bigger even after this creature trades or gets exiled, and any counter-payoffs downstream (proliferate, counter-matters synergies) read that growth as real. The flying body is the floor, not the ceiling: an evasive clock that also holds a ground assault at bay, so the card is never fully stranded. The entry lock is the tax that pays for all this. Support fires once, on the way in, and it can only target other creatures. Cast it into an empty board and the trigger has no legal targets: it whiffs, leaving nothing behind but a 3/3 flier for four mana. That sequencing demand is the whole ask. It wants you to develop first and drop this second, which is precisely the tempo curve a go-wide white deck is already trying to run.
