Advancing the Spirit
Cost reduction with a cantrip stapled on, built specifically to feed the power-up mechanic: the enters trigger replaces the enchantment so it never sits as a dead card, then the static ability hands you one free power-up activation per turn. The design lives in that per-turn rhythm. It does not zero out every power-up cost the way a blanket reducer would; it discounts only the first activation you make on each of your turns, which turns the incentive from spamming abilities into sequencing them so the most expensive one lands in the free window. That single restriction is what keeps a repeatable from spiraling: you get one bite, and you have to decide which ability deserves it. As a payoff piece for a mechanic that otherwise taxes you every turn, it fills the role of the engine card that makes an aggressive power-up curve sustainable rather than mana-starved, while the cantrip ensures the slot is never a blank when the power-up plan stalls out.
