Haste with a cantrip stapled on, which is a stranger pairing than it sounds. The keyword almost always lives on creatures that want to attack the moment they land, so granting it to an existing creature implies a board state where one already does: a freshly recurred fatty, a token swarm that hit the battlefield this turn, a body you just cast and want swinging now rather than next upkeep. The replacement draw is what keeps the card from being dead weight when the haste line does not come together, but the floor is not zero: this needs a creature to target, so it is no use on an empty board and cannot be cast purely to dig. Given a body, though, the draw makes the gamble cheap. Worst case, you grant haste to something already attacking and refill your hand anyway; best case, you turn this turn's deployment into immediate damage and push lethal through an opponent who tapped out expecting a free turn. The design lives in the same family as the red instant-speed cantrips of its era, narrow utility spells that paid their way by guaranteeing card velocity, so a deck never paid full tempo for the gamble. It is a footnote of a card, but a clean one: a single keyword grant priced honestly, with a draw that softens the cost of casting it whenever a creature is around to receive the haste.
