Vigilance plus flying is the classic compromise for a creature too small to dominate either axis on its own. It evades on offense, then stays untapped to wall the ground, which means an opponent never gets a clean swing back simply because you attacked. The 2/2 frame is the honest part of the bargain; at four mana, the rate is deliberately modest, the kind of body that trades into almost anything but races almost nothing. This is curve-filler and air support, a card whose entire job is to be a serviceable evasive blocker-attacker in a white deck that wants reach over the top without surrendering the board. Nothing about it asks to be built around, and nothing about it punishes a player who picks it for exactly what it is.
