A-Phantom Carriage

Creature — Spirit2 generic manaBlue manaBlue mana

Most graveyard payoffs ask you to fill the yard through combat, discard, or self-mill and hope the right card lands there. This one reverses the order: it fetches a specific flashback or disturb card and delivers it straight to the graveyard, skipping the battlefield entirely. That distinction is the whole design. Tutoring a card into your graveyard is not a downside you tolerate for the sake of a body; it is the actual payoff for graveyard-recursion decks, where the graveyard is a second hand and the library is where inconvenient cards hide. The flying 4/4 attached to the trigger keeps the effect honest, giving you a real clock while the deck-thinning and setup happen in the background. It reads as a tempo creature with a value rider, but the enters-the-battlefield search is the reason it exists, and it rewards a build stacked with disturb creatures and flashback spells you would happily cast a second time from where they land. Limiting the search to those two mechanics is what makes the guaranteed hit fair: you cannot tutor a bomb, only a card already built to be cast from the graveyard, which keeps the effect pointed squarely at the archetype it was made for rather than turning into a universal search engine.
