A-Dwarfhold Champion
This is a two-drop built to hold a sword. The 3/1 body wants to attack, but a single toughness makes it a liability against anything with reach or a stray point of damage; the equipment clause resolves that tension by handing back +0/+2 the moment you strap on gear, turning a fragile beater into a 3/3 that survives combat and shrugs off most incidental burn. Ward on top means the opponent cannot answer the equipped creature cheaply, which is the real point: this is a body designed to accrue value through attachments and then punish the removal that would normally break up an equipment package. The A- prefix marks it as an Alchemy rebalance, tuned on the digital side for a white aggressive shell that leans on gear, and the tuning tells you what the card is for. Left to its own devices it is a plain aggressive one-drop's worth of stats at two mana; put a weapon in its hand and it becomes a resilient carrier that protects your investment on both axes. The design leans on a fair conditional: the toughness bump only exists while equipped, so the card asks you to commit to a gear plan rather than rewarding you for topdecking it into an empty board.
