A-Circuit Mender

Artifact Creature — Insect3 generic mana

This is a value creature engineered to be impossible to spend a card on badly. The life gain on entry is the safe half; the draw on departure is the half that changes how it feels to play. A creature that guarantees a card whenever it leaves the battlefield stops being a target worth spending removal on: kill it and you hand the pilot a replacement, block it and trade into a card, sacrifice it yourself and cash both halves. That asymmetry is the whole point of the design. A body that replaces itself has no bad exit, which is why this kind of creature lives in sacrifice shells and blink decks: every way it can leave the battlefield is a way it turns a profit. The 2/3 frame is deliberately unthreatening, a blocker that trades down happily because the trade was never the cost. Its artifact type is quiet extra text that widens where it fits, letting it count toward affinity, metalcraft, and improvise alongside the tribal Insect line. Nothing here is flashy; the card is built to be the connective tissue that keeps a grindy board state from ever running out of gas.
