A-Canopy Tactician
The "A-" prefix marks this as a digital-only rebalanced version, and the knob that got turned is the toughness: the paper card is a 3/3, and this variant bumps it to a 3/4, moving it out of range of the small red burn and ping effects that pick off Elf lords a point at a time. That single point is the whole patch. Everything else is the same double duty the card was already built to do: an anthem for the rest of your Elves, and a mana ability that taps for three green at once. Three mana off one activation is the entire acceleration story, because Elf decks have always been about converting a wide board of small green bodies into a mana total that outpaces the table, and this card is both the payoff-enabler and the payoff engine folded into one slot. It is a lord and a ramp source simultaneously, which is exactly the kind of two-job card a rebalance is meant to fine-tune rather than gut. Read the extra toughness as a designer's note written after the fact: a version of a green Elf payoff repriced for a client where the tribe's board math needed the lord to survive one more removal spell, adjusted by watching real games instead of guessing the number before print.
